Halo Infinite Battle Pass XP has gotten a buff with a new "Play 1 Game" Daily Challenge that grants XP for completing a matchmade game -- and XP Boosts have also gotten a buff.

The recent release of Halo Infinite multiplayer was a wonderful surprise for longtime fans of the game. However, the progression system in Halo Infinite spurred a number of complaints; some players feel that it takes too much grind to progress. 343 Industries has responded to these complaints with some improvements to earning Halo Infinite Battle Pass XP.

Halo Infinite Battle Pass XP Can Be Earned With New 'Play 1 Game' Daily Challenge

The most prominent improvement to Halo Infinite Battle Pass XP is the addition of a new "Play 1 Game" Daily Challenge. You can finish this Daily Challenge by completing a single matchmade game and you'll get 50 XP as a reward.

Additionally, a number of broken Challenges have been fixed:

  • Heat of the Moment
  • It Bears Repeating
  • Jorge Would Be Proud
  • Ultra Tech.

That's not the only change, though! 343 Industries have also buffed Halo Infinite XP Boosts, doubling their duration from 30 minutes to 1 hour. The in-game tooltip currently describes it as having a 30-minute duration, but 343 says that the effect has already gone live.

Unfortunately, there's a downside to these changes -- progress on active challenges has been reset. That said, all players who sign in next week are going to get compensated with something cool.

"As a result of these changes, all progress on active Daily and Weekly Challenges will need to be reset, however, all players who sign-in between November 23-30 will receive this week's Ultimate Reward: the Sigil Mark VII Visor," read the Halo Support Twitter thread announcing the change.

These Halo Infinite Battle Pass XP changes should help make things a little less grindy. You can join in on the fun for free right now by playing Halo Infinite on PC and Xbox via its official website.
