After quite a bit of waiting, the Halo 2 release date for Halo: The Master Chief Collection on PC has finally been revealed.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection. is a collection of multiple games from the Halo franchise, all in one neat package. However, some of the games weren't ready for launch day and they are gradually being released as updates for MCC owners.
Just over two months ago, Halo: Combat Evolved debuted for Halo: The Master Chief Collection on PC in early March. Fans were rightly anticipating the next game in the series to arrive, and now it seems that time is nearly here.
Halo 2 starts off with a bang. Following the successful destruction of the first Halo ring by Master Chief, he has returned home to Earth to report about the threats of the Flood and the Covenant. Unfortunately, other races are equally aware, and that's right when a Covenant fleet pulls up in Earth orbit with a chip on its shoulder.
It's taken 16 years since the game's original launch on Xbox, but Halo 2 is coming to PCs at last without the awful requirement of having to install Windows Vista!
