Gori: Cuddly Carnage has just been announced by Angry Demon Studio and Wired Productions. The third-person ultraviolent skate-slasher is definitely one of the more unique titles you'll see announced this year, and players will be able to slice and dice creepy toys and mutated unicorns as a murdering feline on a death-dealing hoverboard.
The reason for all this nonsense is that there's a horde of bloodthirsty toys known as The Adorable Army, which has wiped out all humans and laid waste to everything on Earth that wasn't cute or cuddly enough to join its ranks. Only Gori, who has a sentient hoverboard named F.R.A.N.K. and a modular AI CH1-P, can stop The Adorable Army and its leaders.
“We’re thrilled to have teamed-up with the ludicrously inventive and wonderfully talented Angry Demon on the absurdly brilliant Gori.” Said Leo Zullo, Managing Director at Wired Productions “When they showed me the demo there was only one reaction... F*&K YEAH. A super cool Cat on a hoverboard doing combis and chopping off unicorn heads!? I mean, come on! The team have such energy it is infectious and it oozes throughout the game. Love it!"
If this game seems somewhat familiar to you, its because we talked about it way back in 2020. While that's only two years ago, for a lot of us it feels a lot longer than that. It makes sense that Angry Demon Studio and Wired Productions have announced the game again, because lets face it, so much has happened that an indie title like this would definitely get lost in the shuffle.
“We are feline great about our partnership with Wired Productions who have, from the very start, been so passionate about our murderous kitty, Gori.” Said John Kalderon, CEO at Angry Demon Studio. “We can’t wait to continue the journey of Gori, F.R.A.N.K and CH1-P alongside Wired, as we bring the game to a whole new level!”
