The Gwent Crimson Curse expansion has been announced and it will be arriving sooner than you might think; it will be coming to PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One later this March. Gwent is a digital card game created by CD Projekt Red that's set in the universe of The Witcher. It's been quietly chugging along, but the game could certainly have used a major content update. Players will now be able to check out a bunch of new goodies very soon with the announcement of this latest major update.

The first Gwent expansion will be introducing over 100 new cards. These new cards will include 31 neutral cards for all players. There will also be 14 faction cards for each of the game's factions and you'll be able to get your hands on them very soon: the expansion launches on PC and consoles on March 28, 2019.

Five cards are up for preview on the site; here are their stats and abilities:

  • (7) Disgraced Brawler (Skellige)

    • Berserk: Destroy this unit.
  • (2) Dryad Ranger (Scoia’tael)
