A look at the lab in the newest update in GTFO.

GTFO, the cooperative first-person-shooter/horror game by 10 Chambers Collective, have just released a new major update for the game. Known as Rundown 003 or 'The Vessel,' this new update brings a new environment, a variety of new weapons, and much-awaited details into the game's story.

GTFO takes place in an underground facility known as The Complex, where players take control of a team of prisoners forced to extract valuable artifacts. The catch is that this facility has been overrun with humanoid monsters that can swarm the team if they make a wrong move. Teams of players will have to search the facility, make use of their tools, and work together... or die together.

In 'The Vessel,' players will have a new environment to explore as they engage in seven new expeditions and excavate a lab inspired by the Aliens films. Players will also have a variety of new weapons and tools to help them deal with the horrors that await them. One of these new horrors that players will encounter is voiced by one of the developer's younger family members! But perhaps one of the biggest draws to this new update is more details on the game's story. Players who brave the new challenges in this update can start to piece together just what happened in The Complex. To help with this story, 10 Chambers Collective have brought on Adam Gascoine, who has worked on titles like DOOMDOOM Eternal, and The Last of Us.

GTFO is currently available in Early Access on Steam for $34.99. Rundown 003 'The Vessel' is available to play for anyone who owns the game. Version 1.0 is expected to release sometime early next year.
