Regardless of what you think of Grand Theft Auto online, it can't be denied that Rockstar Games still strongly support the game despite it having been out for a couple years at this point. Players have been given a steady stream of updates, some adding a new range of themed cosmetic items, while some updates implement entirely new modes into the game. Recently, Grand Theft Auto Online players got a chance to live out their dreams of becoming a motorcycle club member and now the game will have a new mode bolted onto the open-world game.

This new mode for the Adversary playlist of the game is called 'Deadline', and sees players take on each other in a retro-inspired motorcycle battles where you have to try to make other players drive into your light trail while simultaneously trying to not accidentally bump into another player's light trail. Sounds familiar? That might be because it's pretty much a light cycle race from the wonderful Tron Universe:

Deadline is a 4-player mode where you have to race down on an obstacle-heavy track while trying to force the other players to drive into your light trail. In this mode, you have access to several actions you won't be able to use outset of the Deadline mode. I've been playing games since I was just barely able to walk so I might as well write about them.
