The GRIS launch trailer is here ahead of the game's December 13th release date.

GRIS is an upcoming game developed by Nomada Studio and published by Devolver Digital. I first had the privilege of seeing the game in person at an art gallery in New York City as well as getting to speak with one of the developers. I played a preview build of the game at the event before getting to experience an early version of the full game last month.

We can now take a look at the GRIS launch trailer and see some of the stunning scenery that players can experience in the game. Have a look at what you can expect from Nomada Studio's first commercial game:

In the GRIS launch trailer, we get to see a selection of some of the game's more beautiful scenery. Alongside this vivid imagery is the occasional appearance of one of the world's many strange creatures. You don't quite see these exact sections of the world in the same way, but it's a nice presentation that's representative of what the world is like.

Slightly further on, we get to watch a bit of gameplay. The double jump glide ability is shown with the red butterflies (essentially, living jump pads). Gris then makes use of the Heavy ability, a power that lets her transform into a cube so she can hold her ground or smash through shattered floors. Finally, we get to see a little bit of swimming action before the trailer closes out with some more in-engine and animated cutscenes.

GRIS is certainly shaping up to be an interesting experience. If the GRIS launch trailer has sold you on the game, you'll be able to pick it up on December 13, 2018, on Steam for the PC and the Nintendo eShop for the Nintendo Switch. For now, you can add it to your wishlist on Steam and stay tuned for our review coming tomorrow.

I've had a controller in my hand since I was 4 and I haven't stopped gaming since. CCGs, Tabletop Games, Pen & Paper RPGs - I've tried a whole bunch of stuff over the years and I'm always looking to try more!
