The three new cars being added in the new Gran Turismo 7 update

The latest Gran Turismo 7 update (1.19) will introduce three new cars on July 28, 2022. These are the Porsche 918 Spyder '13, the Nissan Skyline Super Silhouette Group 5 '84, and the Maserati A6GCS/53 Spyder '54. There's also some new featured Curations being added, so let's take a look at them, shall we?

What else is coming in the Gran Turismo 7 update?

With the three new cars coming, there's also two new featured Curations in Scapes: Shikoku and Tomica Town, which are both in Japan. Shikoku is part of a legendary hot spring in the city of Matsuyama and is mentioned in ancient works like the Kojiki, while Tomica Town has lots of detailed model cars for players to look at. Basically, players will be able to look at some beautiful scenery and take some snapshots in two new locations, which might be a nice break from the high-octane racing that Gran Turismo usually offers.

That's one sexy car.

What is Gran Turismo 7?

For those who live under a proverbial gaming rock, Gran Turismo 7 is part of a long-running sim racing series from Polyphony Digital. Players can expect over 420 beautiful cars to drive, gorgeous graphics, and the excellent handling and controls that the series is known for. The latest entry in the series also includes an online multiplayer mode of up to 20 players, where drivers can compete to determine who is truly the best among them. You'll also find a bunch of other game modes in Gran Turismo 7, like the GT Campaign, Arcade, and Driving School, along with the GT Simulation mode where you can buy, tune, race, and sell your way through a campaign.

Recent updates for Gran Turismo 7 include an update last month, which also brought in three new cars and a new layout for Spa-Francorchamp. There was also a Gran Turismo 7 roadmap released back in March that promised changes and updates that Polyphony seems to be delivering on so far. We'll see.
