Today Sony Interactive Entertainment and Polyphony Digital announced the content of the next update coming to Gran Turismo 7.

The update is numbered 1.32 and it's scheduled to release tomorrow, April 27.

The main dish of the update is a group of four seriously fast cars, the controversial Jaguar XJ220 '92, the Mercedes-AMG GT3 '20, and two Super Formula cars, the Dallara SF23 Super Formula/Toyota '23 and the Dallara SF23 Super Formula/Honda '23.

A new Super Formula race will be implemented in World of Circuits, and two extra menus will be added to the Cafe. These are Collection: Shelby (Collector Level 41 and above) and Collection: Alpine (Collector Level 35 and above).

The usual new round of curations in Scapes will also include North Yorkshire in the UK and Miyazaki in Japan.

You can enjoy the trailer showing the new cars in action below.

Gran Turismo 7 is currently available for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. Polyphony Digital has been quite consistent with keeping it updated after its release in early 2022 by releasing an update with new cars nearly every month, albeit we did not get one in January 2023. A big update followed in February adding PlayStation VR2 support and more.

If you're interested in the franchise in general, a movie is coming simply titled Gran Turismo and focusing on the story of one of the winners of the GT Academy competition, starring Archie Madekwe, Orlando Bloom, David Harbour, Darren Barnet, Geri Halliwell Horner, and Djimon Hounsou.
