Graffiti Games and Argentian game developer Robi Studios have announced Blue Fire as the first world premiere in the Nintendo Indie World March 2020 showcase.

Blue Fire is a colorful game with a cast of adorably creepy characters set in an expansive fantasy world. Players must navigate fearsome levels filled with dark creatures that are way bigger than you, so this is certainly going to be a game featuring a heck of a lot of dodging.

Your parkour skills aren't just used to dodge deadly attacks in Blue Fire, mind — there will also be some pretty neat platforming sections in the game. These challenging puzzles will be set in "The Void", a haunting realm with floating stone islands and a mysterious, empty white space surrounding you on all sides.

Of course, this 3D platformer will continue the genre's tradition with a boatload of cool collectibles for you to find. This is looking like the kind of thing fans of Banjo-Kazooie and Yooka-Laylee will enjoy — if you love those kinds of games, you're going to want to keep your eyes on this latest release from Robi Studios.

When is the Blue Fire Release Date?

This new game looks pretty dope, but when will you be able to get it?

According to the Nindies presentation, the Blue Fire release date will be sometime in the Summer of 2020. This is also going to be a timed console exclusive for the Nintendo Switch, so it isn't all that surprising that they lead with this one.

You'll probably be able to find out more about Blue Fire on Robi Studios' official website (which is currently down for an overhaul at the time of writing). You'll be able to get your hands on this cool-looking game when it launches as a console exclusive on the Nintendo Switch sometime in Summer 2020.
