You'll be able to get Thimbleweed Park free as the next complimentary game on the Epic Games Store. The Epic Games Store has been giving away a different game for a two-week period as part of a promotion to get people onto the platform for their inaugural year. We've had a good few free titles so far and now Terrible Toybox's Thimbleweed Park has been announced as the next game on deck.

Take a look at the launch trailer so you can see what you'll get if you pick up Thimbleweed Park free:

As you can see, Thimbleweed Park is an adventure game with a strange mix of characters. After all, it's not often that you see a cynical clown with a proclivity for foul language outside of The Simpsons. While our review praised the game's story, you should know that this title is a little more on the classic side of adventure gaming. That means you're going to have a tough time figuring out some of the puzzles if you're not familiar with the genre. Still, there's no better time to start!

While Thimbleweed Park has been announced as the next title up for grabs, currently you can grab Axiom Verge free on the Epic Games Store. That game is a wonderfully weird platformer that can take you back to the glory days of 16-bit gaming. (It seems like the folks over at Epic have recently decided to break out the really weird games for their giveaways.)

If you don't want to wait to get Thimbleweed Park free on the Epic Games Store, you can instead pick it up on Steam as part of the Steam Lunar Sale for $7.99 or your regional equivalent, a 60% discount. Otherwise, you can get the game gratis on February 22, 2019.

Will you grab Thimbleweed Park free on the Epic Games Store? Are you going to grab Axiom Verge free right now? What game do you hope to see come into the rotation next? Let us know in the comments below!
