GOG’s 2015 Big Fall Sale has begun as of today, November 4th, and will last until November 15th at 2pm GMT.

There are three ‘free’ games that one can earn if they participate in the sale, with three brackets at the $5, $15, and $30 plateaus. In order, the first bracket has one receiving System Shock 2, the second The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault of Dark Athena, and the third being Banished at $30.

There are four daily bundles, with today’s bundles being Elder Scrolls Classics (This includes Morrowind: GOTYRedguard, and Battlespire. You can get Arena and Daggerfall for free on Bethesda's Website, linked on their names) at $10.57 for 66% off, Fallout Originals at $9.99 for 66% off, Interplay Ultimate Collection at $25.24 for up to 90% off, and Daedalic: Build Your Own Bundle. Like all GOG bundles, they offer a lesser discount if you select some of the games but not all and if you own previous ones, you don't get charged for them although they still count towards your discount.

There will be also rotating daily deals every twelve hours and over 350 games on sale during the course of Big Fall Sale, with some titles up to 90% off. A few of those daily deals are the Witcher 3 at $32.89 for 30% off, Pillars of Eternity at $22.49 for 50% off, Guild of Dungeoneering at $8.99 for 40% off, and Celestian Tales: Old North at $5.19 for 60% off. You can read our reviews Witcher 3, Pillars of Eternity, Guild of Dungeoneering, and Celestian Tales if you want to learn more about them.

GOG is also offering the chance to watch discounted games being played by the GOG team on Twitch, and there is a streaming schedule available for those that are looking for a particular title to be streamed.

Quick Take:

This looks to be a more passive sale then before, at least in terms of the overall excitement that has been prevalent throughout GOG’s previous sales. For my own personal recommendation check out Legend of Grimrock II, which is inspired by the old-school dungeon crawlers but created for a modern audience. The game can be had for $5.99 at 75% off, and is an excellent introduction to the dungeon crawler genre.
