Iratus: Lord of the Dead

Still looking around for free games to acquire? Well, look no further because Iratus: Lord of the Dead-a turn-based tactical roguelike RPG-is the last free game being given away during the last few days of the GOG Winter Sale. It's available until January 5th at 2 PM, UTC, so while you don't have to grab it right now, you should claim it ASAP so you don't forget. Even if you probably aren't going to play it, it's hard to argue with free, eh?

If you haven't heard of the game and like the genre, Iratus has received good reviews and press across the board. While it looks and plays quite similar to Darkest Dungeon in some aspects, in this title players are the bad guy as they lead an army of undead against the mortal realms.

If you already have the game and want to know what's up with the GOG Winter Sale, there are 3,500 games on sale between now and January 5 at 2PM UTC. That's a ton of games, with perhaps some of the most integral games on the store available in this handy dandy list that shows games that are only available on GOG. This list shows titles like SWAT 4: Gold Edition as 50% off, and Blade Runner is 25% off.

If that isn't enough there's a free games list, GOG's 2021 Bestsellers, their Highest Discounts (starting at 85%), their timeless classics, and GOG's best releases of 2021. If you have some money burning a hole in your pocket and you want some DRM free games, now is a great time to hop into the GOG Winter Sale and see what's on sale.
