Are you tired of Steam sales stories? Stories about whatever 100 games are on sale on steam this week? Well good! We have some variety for you – The GOG FALL SALE!!!
DRM Free, regional pricing and more comes to you from GOG, along with a collection of old games that has only recently been rivalled by Steam who has decided there is no niche in pc gaming it can’t get into!
The GOG Fall Sale promises over 700 titles with up to 90% off throughout, including some wonderful bundles and giveaways. Additionally, each day you can get a ‘stamp’ during the sale, collecting 7 stamps gets you a free game and movie; in this case Witcher 2 and The Gamer’s. Just to check some of the highlights here to let you know what’s going on incase you feel the need to buy here’s a quick rundown:
- Mount and Blade – Free for 39 hours
- Mount and Blade series (DLCs Warband, Napoleonic Wars, Fire &Sword) - $9.97
- The Ultimate Dungeons and Dragons Collection (Post-goldbox era. Baldur’s Gate 1&2, Planescape Torment, Neverwinter Nights 1 &2, Icewind Dale 1&2, Temple of Elemental Evil, D&D Dragonshard, Forgotten Realms, Demon Stone) - $21.10
- Alpha Centuri – $2.99
The sale runs until November 25th, which means there’ll almost certainly be at least one more stamp giveaway and likely other incentives from GOG to keep you going. The daily bundles tend to be quite enticing and come in two choices typically – buy all at a set discount (like 80% on the Dungeons and Dragons one, or 75% on the Mount and Blade series one) or get 60% off chosen titles which helps stop game bloat if that is a concern, or if you own most of the titles already. It also means that all games in a bundle are on sale for 60% off.
If you like older games or want to try some classics at a discount the GOG Fall sale may be just for you.
