Sony has finally revealed the God of War Ragnarok release date. It looks like rumors of delays beyond 2022 were unfounded, as the action-adventure game hits PS5 and PS4 in November, continuing Kratos and Atreus' adventures after the conclusion of 2018's God of War.
When is the God of War Ragnarok release date?
Looks like that Jason Schreier report from June was right after all. The God of War Ragnarok release date is November 9th, so make sure to sharpen your axe and get your best father-son bonding activities ready before then. The game was originally due to launch in 2021, but it was delayed in June last year, at which point it was also confirmed to be coming to the last-gen PS4 as well as the PS5. To accompany the God of War Ragnarok release date announcement, Sony also unveiled a new cinematic trailer showing off a brief but exciting battle in which Kratos and Atreus face off against their foes. What are the God of War Ragnarok pre-order and Collector's Edition bonuses?
As well as the release date, Sony also revealed some of the pre-order bonuses and Collector's Edition goodies that will come with certain editions of God of War Ragnarok. There are two versions of the Collector's Edition, and they look pretty snazzy. Here's everything you're getting with each version of God of War Ragnarok.
All pre-orders
Pre-ordering God of War Ragnarok will net you the Risen Snow Armor for Kratos and the Risen Snow Tunic for Atreus. Both of these items are cosmetic-only, and they're the only bonus you'll get if you buy the Standard Edition of the game, too.
Digital Deluxe Edition
As you'd expect, buying the God of War Ragnarok Digital Deluxe Edition will net you some extra goodies.
