The Ghostrunner Project Hel DLC release date has been delayed by more than a month, pushing back its launch to early March 2022.
Ghostrunner is a fast-paced first-person shooter that originally launched back in September 2020. Since then, the developers have added new content via updates and worked on its first piece of major post-launch DLC, Project Hel.
The Ghostrunner Project Hel DLC was originally planned as a smaller DLC, but it had since evolved into "a full-blown Ghostrunner experience." You'll be put in the shoes of Hel, one of the original bosses from the core game. Hel is charged with a mission of her own, diving into Dharma Tower just like the game's protagonist.
Project Hel promises to be fairly expansive, offering up a total of six levels and a new progression system for the boss-cum-protagonist. Unfortunately, it looks like that DLC has now been delayed by a little more than a month.
When is the Ghostrunner Project Hel DLC Release Date?
The Ghostrunner Project Hel DLC release date is now March 3, 2022, according to a tweet from the game's official account (via Reddit). The DLC was originally intended to launch on January 27, 2022.
"The global release of the Project_Hel DLC will be delayed to March 3rd," read the tweet. "We appreciate your understanding and want all our fans to know that we will use this bonus time to make even more worthwhile improvements while ensuring the health & safety of our team and global partners."
For now, there's still plenty of fun to be had in the original game! You can buy Ghostrunner for PC and consoles at the price of $29.99 or your regional equivalent via its official website. You'll be able to buy Project Hel for $14.99 when it launches on March 3, 2022.
