Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered pre-order

After a short wait, you can now finally get your Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered pre-order exclusively at GameStop. This remake of what is considered by many to be the third Ghostbusters movie has gotten quite the makeover and you can get your very own copy on consoles right now without breaking the bank.

If you haven't had the pleasure of playing Ghostbusters: The Video Game, it was an excellent title that originally came out over a decade ago. Set two years after the end of Ghostbusters II, the team is training a new Ghostbuster while working as contractors for the city. This third-person shooter has you busting ghosts (much like you'd expect) and features the voice acting talents of the original four heroes of this classic comedy film.

Ever since its 2009 release, it's made its way to the PlayStation 2 and 3, the Wii, the Xbox 360, the PSP, and Steam. The game was pulled from sale on Steam in 2017 and we got the announcement that a remaster was on the way at the end of May 2019. Although there is still no official release date, you can finally pick up your Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered pre-order exclusively at GameStop.

The game will be available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. A PC version is also on the way, although GameStop isn't likely to stock it as it will likely be delivered through a digital storefront like Steam or the Epic Games Store.

You can get your Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered pre-order at GameStop right now at a price of $29.99 or your regional equivalent for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. You can see the game's new visuals in the reveal trailer below.
