Gfinity Brings eSports to EGX 2015

Gfinity is hosting 2 eSports tournaments at EGX 2015. The tournaments will be for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and StarCraft 2. Top players from around the world will be competing for a $110,000 prize pot at the National Exhibition Centre, in Birmingham, England from the 24th to 27th of September.

Competing for the title of Gfinity, CS:GO Champions 2015 are the top 4 teams from previous Gfinity events. The competing teams are fNatic, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Team EnvyUs and Virtus Pro from Saturday the 26th to Sunday the 27th at the Champions of Champions event. Eight of the top ranking Starcraft 2 players from around the world will compete before the weekend at the Gfinity Summer Masters finals.

In addition to the competitions Gfinity will have a booth at EGX. At the Gfinity booth you can meet some of the top pro-gamers in the world. Those attending EGX will also have the opportunity to watch the competition for the largest pot in EGX history live. There will be hundreds of playable games and dozens of exclusive developer announcements at EGX as well. Many tickets are already sold out but you can buy what is available here.

Gfinity is a gamer created group aiming to push UK eSports to a professional level. They hope by bringing the eSports event to EGX more people will learn about the popular gaming culture phenomenon.  EGX is the UK’s largest video games consumer, trade and careers event and will be at the NEC, Birmingham from the 24th of September to the 27th.
