Tharsis GOG Connect opportunity is here and six other games are part of this round! Gamers who have both Steam and GOG have an opportunity to get some great games on the DRM-free platform, but only if they act fast!

GOG Connect is a system where GOG will occasionally allow Steam users to get a free copy of a game they own on Steam unlocked on their GOG account. These offers are usually only available for a limited time; typically, the opportunity lasts for a week or less. The Tharsis GOG Connect package has seven games in total that you can grab. Let's take a quick look at the titles.

Shoutout to Volition for making the original Descent trailer available as an amazing insight into game advertising from 20+ years ago.

Descent is one of those classic titles that many modern gamers haven't had the privilege to play. You get to hop onto a sweet hoverbike and blow up hostile robots in glorious 3D. It's a neat little game and now's as good a time as any to pick it up; a remake was shown at E3 2018 and it's looking pretty good.

Divine Divinity is a game that you may be unfamiliar with, but you probably know about its prequel Divinity: Original Sin. This title has some similarities to Diablo with a bit heavier focus on RPG elements. Larian has been great at making interesting games over the years and Divine Divinity is one of their finest works!

Dustforce DX is a fantastically silly platformer where you play a janitor. (Yes, really.) You must use your ninja-like reflexes to clean up the world of all sorts of filth with high-speed action that could make John Woo blush. It's a strange game that's definitely worth checking out!

Europa Universalis: Rome Gold is not a game for the faint of heart. Indeed, this title is for the hardcore strategy nerds that don't mind a bit of a challenge. Head back to the earlier days of the EU series and lead the Roman Empire to victory! This package also includes the Vae Victus expansion pack.

The Tharsis GOG Connect round of games also includes Order of Battle: World War II, a delightfully epic strategy game for military nerds.

Order of Battle: World War II is another strategy title in the bunch that has some unique touches. Manage your supply lines carefully or you'll end up overrun by the enemy! This turn-based game features over 700 different units for you to command.

Panzer Corps adds one more turn-based strategy game to the bunch. (Man, strategy fans are certainly making out like a bandit with the Tharsis GOG Connect package!) Panzer Corps features over 50 different scenarios in classic hex-based strategy gameplay.

Tharsis (Our Review) is a game where you hope that RNGesus is on your side. Your spaceship is in a boatload of trouble and you have a limited amount of resources to survive. Can you escape you predicment without resorting to cannibalism and keeping your sanity? Probably not, but it sure as heck is fun to try!

Two Worlds Epic Edition is the final game on offer with the Tharsis GOG Connect round of games. This Action Role-Playing Game has you playing a bounty hunter in search of his sister in the best 3D graphics that 2009 could muster. Choose your class and keep in mind that your decisions matter in this one—you may very well end up the enemy of someone you'd rather have as a friend. This edition also includes the Tainted Blood add-on.

That's it for this round of games in the Tharsis GOG Connect offer! You have less than a week to get your hands on them over on the GOG Connect page. Speaking of free games and GOG, right now SOMA is free on GOG as well. It doesn't cost you anything, so pop on over to and get 'em while you can!
