The Sparklite release date has been announced! This upcoming game from Red Blue Games, Merge Games, and Maple Whispering Limited has players was previously said to be launching sometime in the Fall of 2019. You'll be using crazy steampunk gadgets in Zelda-style battles and you'll be able to get your hands on it in less than a month —it launches on PC and consoles on November 14, 2019.

What is Sparklite?

Sparklite is an action-adventure game that mixes the old and new in an interesting way. As an example, a good portion of the game takes place on single screens like the very first The Legend of Zelda game that launched all the way back on the original NES. It also has more open sections where the camera moves around.)

In this whimsical world, the titular Sparklite is akin to oil — it powers pretty much everything and is highly valued for its versatility. The evil Baron wants to fuel powerful war machines with this substance and he's gobbling up so much of it that he's ruining the planet. It's up to you to stop him!

Much like its spiritual forefather, Sparklite has you running around beating up enemies, solving puzzles, and fighting big chunky bosses. Many of these puzzles and battles will be overcome with cool steampunk gadgets like the balloon bomb, a miniature explosive attached to a floating balloon that you can control remotely.

The Sparklite Release Date Will Be Here Soon

A news post on the game's Steam Community page has announced that Sparklite will be launching for the PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch simultaneously. No price has been announced for any of the digital storefronts, but an Amazon listing has the physical copy for PS4 pegged at $29.99. Odds are, the price for the digital versions will be at that MSRP or lower.

You'll be able to get Sparklite for the PC and consoles when it launches on November 14, 2019. In the meantime, you can add it to your wishlist on Steam.
