Today Genshin Impact developer HoYoverse is releasing version 3.7 of the popular game and it just provided an appetizer with a new trailer
The trailer focuses on the new four-star Dendro character featured in the new gacha banner (or Event Wish, as they're called in Genshin Impact), Kirara.
Unlike her previous trailer, which served more as an introduction, this time around we delve deep into her gameplay to prepare those who will be lucky enough to pull her. Incidentally, she's the only new character for this update cycle, as the second event wish will bring back previously featured characters. There won't be any new five-star characters this time around.
She's voiced by Julia Gu in English and Sayumi Suzushiro in Japanese. You may know her as Cassandra Cappelli in Atelier Ryza, Kyrie in The Magnificent Kotobuki, and Akira Ono in Hi Score Girl.
You can check out the trailer below.
Here's how HoYoverse describes Kirara:
The beautiful scenery passing by, the smell of delicious nekomanma, a cardboard box by the road... "No no no, no getting distracted. I gotta get this package delivered first!"
If you're unfamiliar with Genshin Impact, it's currently available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, iOS, and Android
A Nintendo Switch version has been announced a long time ago, but HoYoverse has gone under the radar with it and has not said anything since despite confirming multiple times that it hasn't been canceled. We'll have to wait and see if 2023 will finally be the year of Genshin on Nintendo's console.
