Hoyoverse recently uploaded a trailer showcasing the Fatui Harbingers that will be showcased in the newest Genshin Impact update, version 2.8. Titled "A Winter Night's Lazzo," the trailer throws in a few spoilers and teasers about the Teyvat upcoming chapter, set to release on Jul 13, 2022.
What's This Genshin Impact Trailer All About?
Players were gearing up in full force and ready for the "Summer Fantasia" update on July 12, 2022. Still, HoyoVerse has announced an even more significant update headed Genshin Impacts way. The developers posted a quick but thorough trailer, which shows players that the bad guys are making a comeback. The trailer goes on to show players several of the Fatui Harbingers, along with an evil council, who are all attending Rosaylne's funeral.
Though this should be a time spent mourning the loss of a beloved friend, the Harbingers waste no time and begin discussing their agenda, even arguing about their next steps. While most of the trailer shows off how evil these Harbingers are through their intimidating conversations, the trailer soon goes into the next scene, where a new character, Collei, is awoken from what appears to be a vivid nightmare.
For those who may not know of Collei, she is a powerful Dendro character with a massive vendetta against an agent of the Fatui, Barnabas. Collei's heart is pure; she is enthusiastic and very kind. Though she has a troubled past that she has buried deep in her psyche, she tries to put that to rest for the world's greater good. Though Collei has appeared in the Manga, she has yet to come to Genshin Impact the game, until now, of course.
This trailer teases what's to come and brings a monumental update to the story's narrative. The trailer shows each member of the vengeful Fatui Harbingers, besides Scaramouche, who is still on a hiatus.
