Today Genshin Impact developer HoYoverse released another new trailer for an upcoming character who will soon debut in the game's gacha.
Today we meet Baizhu, a 5-star character who will debut in an event wish tomorrow, May 2. He will be featured alongside the other new character Kaveh, and two returning characters, Candace and Fischl.
He is voiced in English by Sean Durrie, while his Japanese voice actor is Kouji Yusa, known for his roles as Gin Ichimaru in Bleach and Nier in Nier Replicant.
You can check out the English trailer below, while the Japanese trailer can be watched on the official channel.
If you're curious, here's a blurb describing Baizhu.
A physician's prescription must adapt to all facets of an individual's circumstances. To protect life most precious, one must first be able to identify truth, falsehood, and signs.
If you're unfamiliar with Genshin Impact, it's currently available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, iOS, and Android. A Nintendo Switch version has been announced a long time ago, but HoYoverse has gone under the radar with it and has not said anything since despite confirming multiple times that it hasn't been canceled. We'll have to wait and see if 2023 will finally be the year of Genshin on Nintendo's console.
At the moment, the game is on version 3.6, but we already know one of the characters who will likely come within the cycle of the next major update, Kirara.
