We're almost up to December after a full year of Games with Gold but with a month to go there are still four free games to collect which have just been announced via Major Nelson's Xbox Blog. For those of you who are unaware Games with Gold is a program where subscribers to Xbox Live Gold receive two Xbox One games and two Xbox 360 games throughout the month for free. During the month one Xbox One game will be available for all month while another will be available starting on the 15th of the month, the Xbox 360 titles trade off half way through the month though.

On the first of the month for Xbox One  players will be able to play Sleeping Dogs Definitive Edition. You play as an undercover cop in Hong Kong trying to infiltrate the triad in hopes of bringing it down from the inside. The Definitive Edition also contains all of the DLC for Sleeping Dogs including a variety of new side missions, costumes, weapons and more. The next Xbox One title will be Outlast a survival horror game that leaves you helpless against all threats. Miles Upshur gets a tip about some strange experiments happening at an asylum so he goes to investigate, once inside he learns that it's a lot harder to get out than he thought. Armed with a night vision camera it's up to you to make your way through the asylum to try to expose what has been happening. This comes ahead of the expected 2017 release of Outlast 2.

On the Xbox 360 players will receive Outland, a 2D action platformer where you get the ability to shift polarity allowing you to avoid certain obstacles and projectiles by changing your own polarity. The final game for Xbox 360 that will be available during December will be Burnout Paradise. Hit the road and try to cause as much damage as possible as you take part in over 100 events with races, stunts, and more. Xbox 360 titles are always backwards compatible nowadays, meaning that effectively Xbox One owners get 4 games to play.

What do you think of the December lineup for Games with Gold? Was there any game you were hoping to see? What has been your favorite game over the year?
