It's that time of the month again when Xbox Live's Major Nelson announces to fans what free games they will be able to download for the next month. For those who are unaware Games with Gold is a program for Xbox Live Gold subscribers where every month a new Xbox One game will be free and two Xbox 360 games will be free on the store.
For the Xbox One on March 1st Rayman Legends will be available for free. Rayman Legends is the sequel to the popular Rayman reboot Rayman Origins that was originally released in 2011. Rayman Legends has Rayman and his friends traverse various fantasy settings trying to save trapped teensies and princesses. Rayman Legends also includes daily and weekly challenges, as well as plenty of levels from Rayman Origins for any player who missed out on playing it.
Starting on the 1st of March for Xbox 360 gold subscribers you will be able to download and play Tomb Raider, the 2013 reboot of the popular Tomb Raider franchise. In Tomb Raider you get to explore the origins of Lara Croft and see what she had to go through to become the woman of action that we know her as today. This game has players explore the island of Yamatai where Lara's expedition ship has ended up, with lush environments and plenty of ancient puzzles to figure out.
Once it has reached the 16th of March then Tomb Raider will return to its normal pricing and Bioshock: Infinite will become free. Bioshock: Infinite is the third game in the Bioshock franchise and follows the story of Booker DeWitt as he journeys to Columbia, a floating city in the sky, to find a girl that had been imprisoned there. On arrival you are labeled the false prophet by Father Comstock the founder and prophet of Columbia.
Be sure to not get too ahead of yourself before March though as there are still two free games currently available for Games with Gold for subscribers. For the Xbox One you can currently download #IDARB and for the Xbox 360 you are able to download Sniper Elite V2 for free.
