Psychonauts 2 got a new trailer with plenty of footage and exposition for fans of the franchsise.
The trailer shows Psychonauts protagonist Razputin in a myriad of situations. A giant brain building? Check. It's also the Psychonauts HQ, something that I'm sure fans have been waiting to explore. Double Fine's quirky sense of humor is an obvious highlight of the trailer as well.
The trailer's description has some story details as well:
Psychonauts 2 tells the story of Razputin Aquato, a gifted acrobat with psychic powers, as he fulfills his life-long goal of becoming an international psychic super-spy. In other words, a Psychonaut. Raz joins the Psychonauts at a dangerous time: a mole has infiltrated the organization and is planning to resurrect history's most cruelly powerful psychic villains. Not knowing who to trust, Raz must dive into the history of the Psychonauts, and that of his own family, to fight the demons of their shared past.

While we didn't see any gameplay footage, the trailer looks to be all in-game, displaying the game's new graphical capabilities.
Psychonauts 2 was crowdfunded on Fig.co. This platform allows for you to both crowdfund games and act as an investor. Funders of profitable games receive money for their contributions, if of course the game is profitable.
