At the Game Awards on Thursday, Dead by Daylight developer Behaviour Interactive announced a new chapter in the asymmetrical horror game. The new chapter, called Darkness Among Us, will feature a new killer, a new map, and a new survivor. The trailer that accompanied the announcement appeared to show this new killer blending in among the survivors before brutally killing one with a knife.
The Darkness Among Us chapter is scheduled to drop on December 11th. Before the presentation, Behaviour Interactive also confirmed that they intend to support and keep the game alive for the next 5 years. To that end, they announced that Dead by Daylight will be receiving dedicated servers starting Summer 2019.
Update: The trailer is now up on Youtube and more information has been distributed via a press release.

The new chapter's killer is actually a group of humans called The Legion. According to Behaviour Interactive, they "draw their power from the thrillingly insane freedom of not abiding to any rules but their own. Players will choose to embody one of the agile teenagers able to catch their victims off-guard with their power, Feral Frenzy."
Behaviour also released more details on the new map and survivor available in Darkness Among Us. The map is Mount Ormond Resort, a remote and abandoned ski-resort-turned-graveyard. The new survivor, meanwhile, is Jeff Johanson, "an artist with a heart of gold". Jeff will also come with new survivor perks and an exclusive item.
