Telltale has an all new series of The Walking Dead for gamers to play, showing off a new trailer as a world premier at The Game Awards 2015! Although already announced, Telltale teased brand new game footage and details of when The Walking Dead: Michonne would release. The brand new game will explore the time in the comics in which Michonne was away from the rest of the group in the comics (between issues 126 and 139) and the events that brought her back. The mini-series, which will be made up of 3 episodes, will begin to be available for play on all platforms starting on February 2016.

Award-winning actress Samira Wiley, known for her recent role in Orange is the New Black will be playing the lead role of Michonne in the new game, and Kevin Bruner, Co-Founder and CEO of Telltale Games had the following to say about the game in a blog post in June:

"With this mini-series, players will experience Michonne's challenges first-hand, and the choices they make will shape her journey. We're incredibly honored by Robert for the opportunity to share this untold story in The Walking Dead universe."

The Walking Dead: Michonne was first announced in June of 2015, with a planned released date of the fall and originally it was said that players who wanted to play The Walking Dead: Michonne will need "at least the first episode of The Walking Dead: Season Two" to play, but it has since been announced that it will be a stand-alone game for Windows and Mac, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Playstation 4, Playstation 3, Android, and iOS devices.
