Future Games Show Summer Showcase

The Future Games Show Summer Showcase has just been aired, bringing forth many trailers, news, and reveals from all over the gaming industry.

In case you don't have the chance to watch the show live, or simply prefer a more comfortable format, here you can find all the videos and reveals for your perusal. 

Without further ado, you can check out the reveals below. 

We start with Highwater by Demagog Studio, which is coming for PC, Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and Nintendo Switch this summer.

Next comes Resistor, a "carpg" by Long Way Home and Pqube, coming "soon" for  PC, Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and Nintendo Switch.

From cars to Dinosaurs, we take a look at Hashbane's dino shooter Instinction, coming to Steam in early access "soon."

Next is Star Trucker by Monster & Monster, coming to PC in 2024.

Hexworks presented new gameplay of Lords of the Fallen, which will release on October 13 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

The next "world premiere" is Glee-Cheese and Team 17's Head-Bangers: Rhythm Royale, coming in 2023 for  PC, Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and Nintendo Switch.

We change genre and style completely, with a pixel-art side-scroller, The Last Faith, coming in October 2023 for  PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and Nintendo Switch. A beta demo will come this summer.

Next on the menu is the gameplay reveal of the stealth-action game Steel Seed by Storm in a Teacup, coming "soon" to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

We then take a look at Distant Bloom by Ember Trail and Kinda Brave, coming soon to PC. 

Go Brave Fantastic is the next game on the show, developed by Dynomite Games and published by Kinda Brave, also coming to PC in 2023.

En Garde! a swashbuckling action-adventure by Fireplace Games is coming to PC, with a demo available now. 

We then move on to Alaskan Road Truckers by Movie Games, coming in fall 2023 to PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.

The Bookwalker: Thief of Tales by Do My Best is coming to PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 on June 22 with a demo already available.

Deceit 2 by WorldMakers, was also showcased. The game is coming to PC, PlayStation, and Xbox in 2023.

Paradox Tectonic showcased its upcoming life simulation Life by You, coming in early access on Steam and the Epic Games Store for PC on September 12.

Moving on to virtual reality, C-Smash VRS is coming to PlayStation VR2 on June 23, 2023. 

Next on the virtual reality menu is Bloodius' Madison VR, coming to PlayStation VR2 and Steam VR in 2023. 

If the idea of skating and grinding in virtual reality is appealing to you, VR Skater may be up your alley. It's coming to PlayStation VR 2 and Pico in 2023, 

First Contact Entertainment presented Firewall Ultra, coming exclusively to PlayStation VR2 later this year.

The VR showcase was concluded by Wallace and Gromit in the Grand Getaway, coming to Meta Quest in 2023.

Next comes Daedaelic Entertainment with a survival game set in one of the developer's most well-known franchises, Survival Deponia, coming this year in early access on PC. 

We then take a look at Homeseek, by The Interactive Collective and Traptics. The game got a release date in July 20 for PC.

Laika: Aged Through Blood by Laika: Aged Through Blood is coming to PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch, with a Steam demo releasing on June 19th. 

Pentapeak Studios presented Space Gears, a free-to-play mecha game for PC, with a demo already available on Steam. 

Bloober Team released the launch trailer of its horror game Layers of Fear, launching on June 15 2023, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Enchanted Portals by Xixo Games was next on the menu. This one comes to "PC and consoles" later this year.

We then take a look at Shattered Heaven, a deckbuilding RPG that is already out for PC. 

We take a look at The F.A.R.T Squad of Moving Out 2 by Devim Games and SMG, coming soon for PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and Nintendo Switch.

Next provided another look at Warhaven, its free-to-play 16 vs. 16 brawler coming to PC in Fall 2023. A hands-on demo will be available during Steam Next Fest from June 19th to June 26th.

Next is a look at the city builder SteamWorld Build from Thunderful, coming in 2023 for PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and Nintendo Switch.

Next on the menu is another look at Daymare 1994: Sandcastle, coming on August 30, 2023, for PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, and PS4.

Next is Core Engage and Daedaelic Entertainment's New Cycle, coming "soon" to PC.

We definitely switch (or "swap?") gears with Ruffy and the Riverside, coming to PC and Nintendo Switch this Winter.  

Epic Games presented a trailer of its Unreal Engine 5, providing a look at quite a few intriguing games. Update: Epic Games reached out to clarify that the following video was "not a showcase that Epic created or placed."

The next "world premiere" is for Fretless by Ritual Studios, coming to PC in 2024. 

Italicpig showcased Paleo Pines, coming to PC on September 26. A demo will be available at Steam Next Fest. 

We then take a look at Hammerwatch 2, coming in Summer 2023 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series XIS, Nintendo Switch, and PC. A demo is also coming at Steam Next Fest.

While there was no trailer, Puzzles for Clef by Ukrainian developer Weasel Token got a release date. It's coming to Steam on July 27.

Station to Station by Galaxy Grove got a trailer showing its colorful gameplay. It's coming to PC in 2023

Sega showcased the console edition of Company of Heroes 3, which is already available for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

We also get to take a look at the gameplay of Reka, coming to PC in 2024. 

The Musical RPG Stray Gods by Summerfall Studios is coming on August 23, 2023, for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series XIS, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

The next "World Premiere" is Pixelsplit's Reveil, coming "soon" to PC.

Next on the menu is a developer presentation of the survival driving game Pacific Drive, coming later this year for PC and PS5 by Ironwood Studios.

We move on to Metroidvania with Cookie Cutter by Subcult Joint, coming to PC in 2023.

We then move on to a police simulator, The Precinct by Fallen Tree Games for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in 2024.

We then get a new look at the horror game Luto by Broken Bird Games, coming "soon" for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. 

Lastly, we get a reveal of The Spirit of the Samurai by Digital Mind Games, coming to PC via Steam in 2024.
