Developer Steel Wool Studios revealed there is a new Five Nights at Freddy's title in the works during the franchise's five-year anniversary back in 2019. Since then, we didn't receive any confirmation on the title's name or an official announcement. However, the community believes the upcoming title is Five Nights at Freddy's: Pizzaplex, based on the multiple leaks that happened so far. All the leaks featured "glamrock" animatronics, as the future installment will take place in a mall with an 80's-style aesthetic restaurant, Freddy Fazbear's Pizza.

The latest leak comes from the popular vinyl figurines and bobbleheads' producer, Funko, as they supposedly listed future entries in their Pop! line based on the Five Nights at Freddy's: Pizzaplex characters. What gives it away is the PizzaPlex tag present in all of them, and the characters featured include Glamrock Chica, Glamrock Freddy, Montgomery Gator, Roxanne Wolf, and Vannie. This might not be all of them, as the listing features 6-piece and 12-piece packs, and the aforementioned characters only add up to five.

Another leak comes from Toywiz, as they put up a wall calendar for the year 2021 and a snapshot of three Five Nights at Freddy's characters rock-and-rolling. The merchandise features an August release date, which hints towards an official announcement soon if these leaks are true. There's been no official word about this as of yet, but the listings have since been taken down, so make of that what you will. Luckily, nothing ever escapes the eyeballs of the internet, and that's why fans were able to catch them before they were gone, especially not fans in the original sense of the word that Five Nights at Freddy's seems to inspire

Are you excited for Five Nights at Freddy's: Pizzaplex? Do you think the new setting and animatronics will bring a new gameplay dynamic to the franchise? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
