Surprise, surprise! A Forza Horizon 5 DeLorean has been announced and will be available as part of the game's Festival Playlist. Best of all, you won't have to wait too long to enjoy this cool classic car.
Forza Horizon 5 is -- as the name implies -- the latest game in the long-running Forza Horizon franchise that's launching in a little over a month. This upcoming game features two planned expansion packs and a ton of customization options. Naturally, it also has dozens of cool cars to drive, and one of the most iconic cars in cinema will be joining the roster -- you'll soon be able to get behind the wheel of a DeLorean DMC-12.

The Forza Horizon 5 DeLorean is a Surprisingly Early Festival Playlist Reward
The Forza Horizon 5 DeLorean is a pretty darn cool Festival Playlist reward. You'll be able to get it pretty early, too -- it will be included in the first week of rewards.
The DeLorean DMC-12 may have been lost to history were it not for the iconic Back to the Future films, which prominently featured a modified version of the car that could travel through time once it hit a speed of 88 miles per hour. Unfortunately, the demo video shown today shows the Forza Horizon 5 DeLorean hitting that speed and not catapulting through the space-time continuum, so it looks like you'll just get to drive the regular ol' car.
With Forza Motorsport 7 having been pulled from sale last month, this upcoming game will be the only way you can enjoy the tight gameplay of the Forza franchise. You can pre-purchase Forza Horizon 5 for PC via Steam and for PC and Xbox via the Microsoft Store starting at $59.99 or your regional equivalent; you can also get the game as part of an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription.
