Microsoft is to stop selling Forza Horizon 3 and all of its DLC via the Microsoft Store in September. As a celebration of the game reaching "end of life", both the Standard and Ultimate Editions will be on sale until it's removed from the store.

When will Forza Horizon 3 be removed from sale?

This news comes via a tweet on the official Forza Horizon account. In the tweet, the devs say Forza Horizon 3 is "headed towards 'End of Life' status". They go on to explain that this means the game and its DLC will no longer be available for purchase in the Microsoft Store as of September 27th. If you do still love Forza Horizon 3, don't fret - you'll still be able to play multiplayer and access online services. You just won't be able to buy the game or any of its downloadable content via the Microsoft Store.

In response to a tweet from user Xylinxium, the Forza Horizon folks say the game's Standard and Ultimate Editions will be on sale until September 27th. The Standard Edition has had 67% chopped off its price and will now set you back a mere $9.89. If you're interested in the Ultimate Edition, it can be had for $20.99, a 70% discount on its usual price. On top of the full game, the Ultimate Edition also adds the Forza Horizon 3 Car Pass, VIP Membership and accompanying cars, and the Motorsport All-Stars Car Pack. Looks like now is the time to check out Forza Horizon 3 if you want to play it and haven't yet done so.

Are you sad to see Forza Horizon 3 depart the Microsoft Store? Will you be picking it up at its new discounted price? Let us know in the comments below!
