Fortnite Skywalker Week has arrived, and with it comes three iconic characters Luke, Leia, and Han Solo from Star Wars. Not only will the game have new playable characters, but new weapons, cosmetic items, and even special items from Junk Rifts.
Fortnite is known for adding in some iconic and well-known characters from several movies, other video games, and even TV shows. Back in August of 2022, we learned that the stars of Dragon Ball Z would be making their way to the battlefield. On November 8, 2022, Skywalker Week will begin, and players will be able to wield lightsabers, Including Luke's from A New Hope and Return of the Jedi. Not only that, players will have a chance to find Luke's X-34 Landspeeder and drop it right on the heads of unsuspecting opponents. The X-34 can be found inside of Junk Rifts, Imperial Chests and Regular Chests strew about the map.
Another addition is the Stormtroopers signature weapon, the E-11 blaster rifle. Players will be able to shoot their way through oncoming enemies with the rifle yet again, but for a limited time of course. The cosmetic items, such as the signature Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, and Han Solo outfits are available now in the in-game shop.
There will be special quests available to complete to earn both XP and rewards during Skywalker Week, and during the event, players will be able to obtain and utilize the special event items available. Players will be able to take on Darth Vader once more on the island, and once defeated, players can pick up their lightsaber to use in battle. Not only is the lightsaber great for slicing through enemies with ease, but swinging it rabidly can block oncoming fire. More so it can be used almost like a boomerang, and thrown at the enemy from afar.
