Fortnite Chapter 2 Vista

A leaked trailer for Fortnite Chapter 2 has recently popped up online. The mystery of the black hole was building to a boiling point and fans were anticipating something big. The trailer was of unsually good quality, leading people to believe that it was a genuine release.

Now, we can happily say that the leaked Battle Pass trailer that was posted by SkinTracker is indeed real — Fortnite Chapter 2 is here.

The Leaked Fortnite Chapter 2 Trailer

The above trailer leaked a bit in advance of the official announcement of Chapter 2 and it was jam-packed with new things for players to do. Right off the bat, it opens with players riding on boats, introducing a brand-new vehicle into the game.

That wasn't the only new introduction in the leaked trailer, though — we also got to see what looked like a medic carrying an ally on the beach, fishing, pogo sticks, battle medals, and many other curiosities. Players could speculate, but we soon got confirmation with the release of an official trailer.

Fortnite Chapter 2 introduces boats, fishing, carrying downed allies, and a heck of a lot more. Oh yeah — and there's a brand-new island, too.

A Boatload of New Features

There are so many things being introduced as part of Chapter 2 that' it's a little unbelievable. This isn't just a few sections of the map being swapped out and some new cosmetics — Fortnite has gotten a serious upgrade.

Let's start with the big-ticket item: a brand-new island is now available for players of this popular battle royale to fight it out on. This map has many more waterways than its predecessor, which makes the addition of boats and swimming — yes, swimming — a key feature of play in this new environment.

Teamwork is getting stepped up, too — not only will you be able to carry a downed ally on your shoulders, there also appears to be a ranged healing gun of some type that will be available for you to us.

There are, of course, several unusual additions. FIshing is now in the game for some reason, and it appears that players can set an ambush by jumping out of dumpsters or piles of haybecause why not.

Things are still a bit light on official details, but you can read more about Fortnite Chapter 2 and its brand new Battle Pass at the game's official website. You can also check out the Chapter 2 launch trailer below.
