The Forager physical release date has been set for the upcoming physical editions of the game on the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. Nighthawk Interactive has announced via a press release that a physical version of the game is on the way — and you won't have to wait too long to get it, either. The Nintendo Switch and PS4 physical editions are launching on September 10, 2019, in North America and September 13, 2019, in Europe.

If you haven't yet played Forager, it's a pretty neat little indie game. Essentially, it melds mechanics from Stardew ValleyTerraria, and The Legend of Zelda into an interesting top-down experience. Players gather up materials, build stuff, and then buy land and expand their world! You can learn new skills, solve puzzles, raid dungeons, and a whole lot more!

The game is pretty fun if it's your kind of thing (although our reviewer wasn't so fond of it), and now you'll be able to pick up a physical version in just two months according to a press release from distributor Nighthawk Interactive. The special physical edition for the Nintendo Switch and the PlayStation 4 versions will include (of course) the game, an exclusive poster, and some stickers.

If you'd prefer to play this game on PC, you can get it right now on Steam for $16.99 or your regional equivalent, a 15% discount as part of the Steam Summer Sale 2019. Do keep in mind that there's less than a day left to get this discount! Otherwise, you can pre-order the Nintendo Switch version or the PlayStation 4 version right now exclusively at GameStop; it will be available at other retailers in the future. The Forager physical release date is September 10, 2019, in North America and September 13, 2019, in Europe; you'll be able to snap it up at a price of $29.99 or your regional equivalent.
