For The King

Developer IronOak Games and publisher Curve Digital has released the first expansion pack for For The King, which is called For The King: Lost Civilization Adventure Pack. It includes a new Jungle Falls area, 2 new playable classes, new weapons, new enemies, and more. Since its April 2018 launch on Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, the game has seen over 3 million players, which makes this expansion/adventure pack thingy a no-brainer.

What's in Lost Civilization?

  • Jungle Falls is a new place for players to explore. It's a "dense wood" and has many dangers for players to tangle with.
  • The two new playable classes include the glory-seeking Gladiator and the Astronomer, who harnesses dark energy from the heavens.
  • Gladiator arenas will have players fighting waves of enemies before a cheering crowd.
  • Wands and dual-wielding are in the game, with over 90 new weapons available from 50 new enemies. These enemies range from the giant snakes to petrifying golems.

For The King: Lost Civilization Adventure Pack is out today on Windows 10 Store, Steam, and Epic Games Store for £4.99 / $5.99 / €5.99. It's currently 20% off on Steam until February 24, so you have lots of time to wait for reviews and see if this expansion is worth its $4.79 sale price.
