Today Ubisoft showed-off season one of Year four for For Honor, titled "Hope". Hope will launch February 6 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC and will introduce a wealth of new content into the game. Year four has been named the "Year of Reckoning", bringing changes to the world of For Honor that won't be delivered as straight forward as simply adding a new campaign.
In this new season, the world of For Honor will see the cataclysm that has been plaguing it seems to be subsiding. With this end comes a need for a new reason for the Heroes of For Honor to head into battle. This means that some interesting changes are in the works to develop For Honor's lore further. The new season will bring new lootable armors, weapons, in-game events, and other new content all throughout the life of Hope.
The new year also brings the introduction of the Battle Pass for the game. This new progression system will enable players to earn cosmetic rewards through both a free and premium version of the pass. Simply by completing matches, arcade quests, and daily orders players will earn progression towards those Battle Pass rewards. Ubisoft has outlined and detailed some of what players can expect throughout the entirety of year four. The year's worth of new content will include two new Heroes, loads of new customization options, and some surprises. Ubisoft also wanted to make sure that players know that they have balance as a core priority as the game grows and new Heroes are added and that they will be working to support and develop the competitive scene by holding official tournaments regularly.
How do you feel about what is coming to For Honor with the first season of year four? What would you like to see get added to the game in upcoming seasons this year?
