Five Nights at Freddy's AR: Special Delivery

Five Nights at Freddy's AR: Special Delivery will be arriving for Android and iOS today according to a press release from the publisher. This isn't yet the full release, mind — but there will still be plenty of scares in store for you.

If you enjoy horror and you own a phone, you're going to have something new to enjoy. And by "enjoy", I mean "oh boy, I think I'll sleep with all the lights on and a baseball bat by my bed." Just check out the game's Announcement Trailer to get a feel for what they're going for here:

In other words: oh hell no.

Five Nights at Freddy's AR: Special Delivery is entering an early access period today on both Android and iOS for the masochists out there who like the pants scared off of them. Utilizing location-based technology, you can now see some of Freddy Fazbear's terrifying (and murderous!) animatronics wherever you are in the world!

Thankfully, you won't be entirely defenseless when playing Five Nights at Freddy's AR: Special Delivery — you'll have a handy set of tools with which to protect yourself.

Fight Back in Five Nights at Freddy's AR: Special Delivery

Just like the core series of games, players of Five Nights at Freddy's AR: Special Delivery will have a handful of items in their toolkit to fend off these nightmarish robots. They include:

  • Battery
  • Flashlight
  • Shocker

Furthermore, you'll be able to hotwire your own animatronics. These transformed machines can be customized with parts, CPUs, plush suits, and other mods. Why would you build your own animatronics! To send them after your friends, of course! That's right, this game will also have a PvP game mode so you can make your friends suffer too.

You'll be able to play Five Nights at Freddy's AR: Special Delivery at some point today on Android via Google Play and iOS via App Store Preview. You can also swing by the game's official website fnafar.com.
