The first post-launch Scarlet Nexus DLC has been detailed by the developers, and that's not all: Scarlet Nexus Update 1.04 is also on the way, adding challenges, new plugins, and more.
Scarlet Nexus is an action game with RPG elements that was revealed by Bandai Namco last year. Despite a strange bug or two, the game has a solid foundation of action-filled gameplay -- now, its first post-launch DLC and a new free update is on the way. What We Know About the Scarlet Nexus DLC "Bond Enhancement Pack 1"
The Scarlet Nexus Bond Enhancement Pack 1 DLC will feature a new bond level called "EX." 10 new bond episodes -- 5 each for Yuito and Kasane -- will further expand the story and the titular bonds between your allies.
Additionally, this update will feature a new "Fairy Tale Attire" costume set created by character designer and illustrator Yusuke Kozaki. The name might not seem familiar to you, but he's got a fair amount of work under his belt including multiple Fire Emblem and No More Heroes games along with the character design for the team leaders in Pokemon Go.

What's Coming in Scarlet Nexus Update 1.04?
Scarlet Nexus Update 1.04 adds a new "Challenges" system, although details are light on how this system actually works. As the name implies, I expect there will be some kind of challenges for players to undertake. Naturally, there will be rewards for completing them including attachments, costume variations, and weapon skins.
Also arriving in this update are several new plugins available in the shop exchange and new brain talk messages related to the new content added to the game. The new plugins, in particular, will change up combat in interesting ways by giving you the ability to increase the activation probability of Assault Vision or control over the activation timing of Brain Drive.
When is the Scarlet Nexus Update 1.04 Release Date?
As with the first post-launch DLC, the Scarlet Nexus Update 1.04 release date has not yet been announced. That said, today's announcement notes that this new content will be coming soon, so we probably won't have to wait too long to play it.
