The first major RAGE 2 expansion is on the way! Titled RAGE 2: Rise of the Ghosts, it will take players on an adventure in a brand new region under threat from an old faction of bad guys. You're getting pretty much one of everything with this expansion — a new weapon, vehicle, ability, and more — so let's get right into the details!
What's Coming in RAGE 2: Rise of the Ghosts?
Rise of the Ghosts is going to give players a neat chunk of content. First announced at E3 2019, we finally have some more substantive details about what players can expect to see. Here's what the news post about this expansion says you'll be getting in terms of skills and equipment:
- A New Weapon: The Feltrite Laser Launcher
- A New Ability: Void
- A New Vehicle: Ghost Motorcycle
Hop onto your Ghost Motorcycle, fire up the Void ability, and shoot your Feltrite Laser Launcher like a maniac in the new region of the Overgrown City, a ruined metropolis that is packed full of danger. The legendary Ghosts of the wasteland have been undergoing brainwashing and gaining power, and now it's up to Ranger Walker to end the threat before they become too powerful and try to take over what's left of the world once again.
Once thought to be wiped out, the Ghosts were a terrifying threat. Now only you remain to stop them!
How to Get the RAGE 2 Expansion
If you loved RAGE 2 and you want to get more action, you'll be able to pick the game's first big expansion up at the price of 1,500 RAGE coins. That works out to exactly $15, so it's not too bad for what will hopefully be a hefty piece of DLC!
