Atlus have finally released a trailer featuring gameplay for the long awaited Persona 5. The stylish trailer offers a look at the characters and battles as well as its setting.
It confirms that Katsura Hashino is indeed directing it. The last game, Persona 4 was released in 2008 on the PS2 and it has been a long wait for fans of the series.
It was back in September of last year that Atlus showed the first glimpse of the playable character. This new trailer starts dramatically with a mysterious masked character jumping through a window at night. (This appears to be the player character) It then continues on to a stylized theme that will feel familiar to fans. As well as showing some returning characters and how the game will play.
Back at the end of 2014 it was revealed that Sega had acquired Atlus who are publishing the game. Sega themselves have recently gone through some changes but it doesn't seem that it will be effecting Persona.
Person 5 is expected to be out at some point in 2015 on the PS3 and PS4.
