The first DOOM Eternal DLC has finally been revealed at Quakecon 2020. The Ancient Gods, Part One will have the Slayer taking on a new challenge in a frosty environment that's sure to test your demon-killing skills.

"You are here to restore order to my world," an unseen narrator says in the trailer. "With the demons in control, you understand the threat they pose to all my creations."
We get to see a few scenes in the trailer, but it's otherwise lacking in information. The description of this new DOOM Eternal teaser on YouTube, however, has a few more morsels for us to gobble up:
Your victory over Hell’s armies pulled humanity back from the edge of extinction, but it came at a cost. An imbalance of power in the heavens requires the true ruler of this universe to rise and set things right. Wage war across never-before-seen realms of the DOOM Universe and fight against new demons in your never-ending battle against the forces of evil.
When is the first DOOM Eternal DLC Release Date?
An expansion of the story campaign is something a lot of fans have been hoping for; when can you play DOOM Eternal – The Ancient Gods, Part One?
Sadly, we don't have a release date for the first DOOM Eternal DLC just yet. Heck, this teaser isn't even the full trailer. We will, however, be able to see it in just a few short weeks.
"Don't miss the world premiere of The Ancient Gods: Part 1, the new campaign expansion of [DOOM] Eternal during [gamescom] Opening Night Live, streaming live on August 27!" Geoff Keighley said on Twitter.
Presumably, we'll get the first DOOM Eternal DLC release date at the end of the full trailer. For now, you can buy DOOM Eternal on Steam for 50% off until August 11, 2020, as part of the Quakecon Sale. Other DOOM games and iD titles are also available at a discount, so don't pass up on this opportunity!
