Firefly Online, the all new game coming from Spark Plug Games, is an MMO that makes players the captain of their own ship in the universe of the show Firefly. Players will have the ability to captain a ship, perform various jobs (quests), and be a part of the beloved universe.

Today came the announcement that when released, Firefly Online will indeed be playable on Steam. Since the developers have been accepted as a Steam partner, PC and Mac users will be able to buy FFO, sign into their accounts, and get bonuses, DLC and extras through the Steam engine.
There will also be a Steam Community where players can chat and interact with each other outside of the game! It is also worth noting that even though this game will be releasing on Steam, it will also be releasing on the Android and iOS platforms as well.
This is a great step forward for the upcoming MMO, and solidifies the fact that the game is indeed coming, meaning that fans can keep looking forward to more Firefly news.
