Square Enix has released a new unboxing video for the Final Fantasy XVI Collector's Edition, and it's looking like a pretty stunning set. You're getting a gorgeous art box with art by series mainstay Yoshitaka Amano, as well as a detailed statue, a pin collection, and more.
A few weeks back, we got a look at an adorable retro pixel art video created to show off the world of Valisthea. Now, as we move towards the June release date for Final Fantasy XVI, Square Enix has shown off what you can expect if you pick up the rather pricey Collector's Edition.

First up, the video shows off the special Collector's Edition box, which has a piece drawn by Amano. It looks suitably imposing and epic. Next, we see the game's regular box art, followed by a detailed look at the beautiful statue depicting the Eikons Phoenix and Ifrit locked in combat.
Following that, the video shows off the impressive-looking metal Eikon pin collection, with close-up looks at Eikons like Odin, Ramuh, and Leviathan. The Collector's Edition will also come with a steelbook and a cloth map of Valisthea, which you can use to immerse yourself in Final Fantasy XVI's gritty world.
As well as the above, a number of in-game download bonuses are also available if you pick up the Collector's Edition. You'll get a bonus Braveheart weapon, as well as two accessories in the form of the Cait Sith Charm and the Scholar's Spectacles. Picking up the Collector's Edition will also net you a digital artbook and soundtrack.
All in all, the Collector's Edition is looking pretty beautiful, as it should considering that it'll set you back a whopping $349.99 when it launches. You probably already know if this is something you're going to want to splash out on, but if you do, it looks like you're getting a high-quality set here.
Final Fantasy XVI launches on June 22nd. It is, as the name suggests, the sixteenth mainline installment in the long-running Final Fantasy JRPG series. You play as Clive, a young man who must journey across the land of Valisthea to protect his brother Joshua and navigate an all-out war between Eikons. The game will be a PS5 exclusive, and it's available for pre-order right now via the PlayStation Store.
