Final Fantasy XIV is currently available for PC, PS5, and PS4. After its fourth expansion "Endwalker," the game currently counts 27 million registered accounts worldwide. The game recently received update 6.38, which should be the last of the 6.3 cycle, while the Moogle Treasure Trove event is in full swing until the launch of 6.4.
Square Enix also just made the Stormblood expansion accessible for a limited time with no additional purchase required to those who own the Starter Edition, while producer and director Naoki Yoshida shared his ambitions for the future of the game during a recent event at PAX East.
