Today Square Enix is implementing update 6.35 today in its ultra-popular MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV and the patch notes have just been released.
The detailed update notes, which you can find on the official site, include plenty of info on what we can expect from the patch, which is rather large for a X.X5 one.
We get to hear about several new quests added to the game, including the "Somehow Further Hildibrand Adventures" chain and the Manderville Weapons and Splendorous Tools enhancements, plenty of details on the Eureka Orthos deep dungeon, and the much-awaited Loporrit tribal quests, on top of some of their rewards (which include a super-cute ear wiggle emote).
Additional details include new furniture for our beloved houses, new mounts, a Chocobo barding, minions, and a rather "techy" umbrella. We even see a new hairstyle, which certainly appears rather fashionable.
Most of these are likely rewards from the Eureka Orthos Deep Dungeon (about it the update notes share plenty of details) and the Loporrit Tribal Quests.
If you'd like to see more you can check out some recent screenshots, while below you can take a look at Dreamingway spinning records at the new location for the Tribal Quests to ease the wait for the servers to come back up. That's scheduled to happen at 2:00 a.m. PST.
Final Fantasy XIV is currently available for PS5, PS4, and PC both on Steam and via stand-alone client. The game is one of the most popular MMORPGs on the planet, having pulled a basically miraculous recovery with its relaunch as "A Realm Reborn" in 2013 after its original release in 2010.
After its fourth expansion "Endwalker," it currently counts 27 million registered accounts worldwide. Just a few days ago, the new edition of the annual Little Ladies' Day seasonal event has been launched.
