This weekend at Jump Festa in Japan Square Enix took this time to show off a little but more about their upcoming games Final Fantasy Type-0 HD and Final Fantasy XV. Both of these game will be a part of the Fabula Nova Crystallis series of Final Fantasy games following the same crystal mythos of Final Fantasy XIII and its sequels. Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is a western remake of the original Type-0 which was released in 2011 in Japan.

In Final Fantasy Type-0 you play the role of members of Class Zero as you fight against forces that seek to destroy the Dominium of Rubrum. The trailer released details some of the more adult themes that will occur over the progress of the game such as death and war.

A new trailer was shown for Final Fantasy XV as well, this trailer showed off a bit more of the story of the game but the big reveals are for the wide variety of different locations that you will travel to in the game showing lush forests, beautiful towns and harsh winter tundras. The combat system was shown off once again with no load times and no menus as Final Fantasy XV will have a combat system similar to that of Final Fantasy Type-0 and the Kingdom Hearts series but be more realistic. Some new monsters were also shown off giving fans a good idea of the scale of some battles that they might be seeing themselves in.

Final Fantasy Type-0 will be released on the 17th of March for the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One. There is also a collectors edition announced for Type-0 that will include a steel book case with the game and soundtrack, a 200 page manga about the world and back ground story, an art book, five replica cards used by Ace in the game and a demo code for Final Fantasy XV Episode Duscae and be one of the first to play Final Fantasy XV. No word is out yet on the release date for Final Fantasy XV but it will be released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

What do you think of the new trailers? Are you going to be getting either one of them, or maybe even both?
