PlayStation Plus February

Another month, another bout of PlayStation Plus games available for PlayStation console owners. As usual there's two games available for the PlayStation 4, 3, and Vita, though thanks to Cross Buy Ps4 owners can get 5 games total this month.

PlayStation 4 owners will be treated to LittleBigPlanet 3 and Not a Hero. LittleBigPlanet 3 is a 2.5d platformer with a major focus on content creation. You can build and play levels made by other players online. For the first time in the series, the game offers up some new playable characters, including a doggo which is pretty cool. Not a Hero is a 2D shooter where your goal is to take out various criminal empires while playing as a bunch of wacky characters and trying to get an anthropomorphic rabbit elected as mayor in a game rife with political satire. You know, usual, stuff. It also, notably, has nothing to do with the upcoming Resident Evil 7 DLC of the same name. You can read our review of Not a Hero here.

PlayStation 3 owners get STARWHAL and Anna - Extended Edition. STARWHAL is a competitive local multiplayer game where up to four players can play as space-faring narwhals. Your goal is to stab the other players with your horn as you flop around the field. Thanks to Cross Buy PlayStation 4 players can also grab STARWHAL. Anna is a horror adventure game where players arrive at an abandoned sawmill and need to explore it and uncover items to figure out the main character's past. Depending on how you play the game will determine how sane the character remains and which of the eight possible endings you'll get.

Finally, PlayStation Vita owners get two games of their own, these being Ninja Senki DX and TorqueL. Ninja Senki DX is a retro-styled platformer that features sprite graphics, made to imitate the NES days. You'll have to jump, dodge, and use your shuriken to get through difficult challenges. TorqueL is a puzzle game where you must extend sides of the box you live in to get through various challenges and situations. Both of these games are also available on the PlayStation 4.

All of these games will be available on the first Tuesday of February, which would be the 7th, and will be available until the first Tuesday of March (also the 7th). This means it's also your last chance to grab January's games, which is Day of the Tentacle: Remastered and This War of Mine: The Little Ones on the PlayStation 4, Blazerush and The Swindle on the PlayStation 3, and Azkend 2: The World Beneath and Titan Souls on the PlayStation Vita.
