Farming Simulator 2015 will be arriving on current and last generation consoles Tuesday, May 19, 2015. The game will release on Xbox One and Xbox 360, as well Playstation 4 and Playstation 3.

With the announcement came a new trailer for the upcoming rerelease, showing off the various brands available in the game.

Faming Simulator 15 has licenses from the 40 largest manufacturing brands including:

  • New Holland
  • Ponsse
  • Case IH
  • Deutz-Fahr
  • Lamborghini
  • Horsch
  • Amazone
  • Same
  • Grimme
Machinery is faithfully designed to their real life designs, down to every stitch, bolt, and nut. Over 140 vehicles are reproduced and animated. Vehicles can transport, sow, harvest, cut, and fertilize. Multiple players can also use vehicles simultaneously. One player can drive a tractor equipped with a trailer container while following another player driving a combine-harvester, and then receive the harvested crops in real time. Players can expect a variety of farm work in Farming Simulator 15, including breeding cattle and the new woodcutting activity.

Faming Simulator 15 released on PC and Mac in 2014 to mixed reviews. Many critics liked how accurately the trailers were made, reflecting their real life counterparts well, while feeling the rest of the game felt like significantly less effort had been placed in it. Examples include a poor physics engine, flat textures, and little interactivity in the world for a game that is supposed to simulate the world of farming.

The previous game in the Farming Simulator franchise Faming Simulator 14 released on all portable platforms; Nintendo 3DS, Playstation Vita, and phones and tablets. Farming Simulator 15 also has three DLC's. A JCB DLC for $9.99 included JCB equipment such as JCB Fastrac 3230, JCB Fastrac 8310, JCB 260, JCB TM320S and JCB 435S. The ITRunner DLC for $9.99 included the ITRunner 26.33 HD hook lift trailer, Skip, Bale Container, Wood Container, Slurry Container, Grain Container, Chaff Container and Manure Container. Finally the third DLC, Modding Tutorial 2.0, contained a series of video tutorials to help get the consumer acclimated to modding Farming Simulator 15.
