Fans of the critically acclaimed Fallout series are likely firing up their pip boys today, as a brand new collection from Bethesda has been revealed.
Found on Amazon Germany, the new Fallout Legacy Collection includes six games bundled together for the PC, at a reasonable price of €39.99, or roughly $44.99.
The package contains all six of the mainline games; Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout Tactics, Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas, and Fallout 4. The latter three games are also the Game of the Year and Ultimate Editions, respectively, meaning the latter titles contain all of the expansion packs and add-ons released for those titles over the years.
All six of the games are available on multiple gaming platforms, such as Steam and GOG as separate purchases. This marks the first time all of the titles have been bundled together; though for most of the games it is not the first time they have been a part of a singular bundle. For example, this is the second time in a few years that Fallout 4 has been added to a package deal as well. Previously Bethesda bundled it together with The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
This does mark the first time the original games, before Bethesda's acquisition of the license, have been given a re-release on PC.
Only three games are not present in the Legacy Collection; the popular mobile game Fallout Shelter, the online-only Fallout 76, and the long-forgotten Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of the Steel, released back in 2004.
There is no official release date, nor an official announcement by Bethesda, regarding the Legacy Collection, at this time. Very likely Bethesda will make a statement soon about the Collection, including official pricing and release date, as well as availability outside of a PC version.
